The Columbia Consolidated Fire Department Held an online auction in August through GetSome Cash ebay Store. The auction raised $13,827.47. Jeff Richardson is pictured presenting a check to Paul Delmotte, CCFD Treasurer. According to Delmotte, the fire department is impressed with the results.

FUND-RAISER
GetSome Cash, an eBay store in Manchester, raised $13,827.47 for the Columbia Consolidated Fire Department. Jeff Richardson, owner of GetSome Cash, presented the check to Paul Delmotte, treasurer of the fire department. The funds were raised by selling items on ebay and will be used for improvements to the firehouse.

Lots of people wind up with unwanted odds and ends sitting around after they complete their spring and fall cleaning. The York SPCA is encouraging them to donate those unwanted items as part of a new fund-raising initiative.

The York SPCA has teamed up with GetSome Cash, an eBay drop-off store at 208 Plaza Drive in Manchester, to raise money to cover utility costs at the SPCA's new facility at 3159 Susquehanna Trail North in York.

There is no deadline for the fund-raiser.
